Installation

There are two ways to manage users in Specops Authentication:

• Specops Gatekeeper (on-premises component): for Active Directory environments.
• Microsoft Entra ID (cloud-based): for non-Active Directory environments.

To give users access to Specops uReset from the Windows login screen and provide enrollment reminders, install Specops Client. For installation instructions, see Specops Client Installation.
