Installing ADMX templates
Administrative (ADMX) templates can be used to manage settings that are related to the Specops Client. The ADMX templates do not need to be installed on the client computers. For on-prem Active Directory environments it is recommended to install the ADMX templates in the central store. Refer to the Microsoft documentation for details.
Configuring the Specops Client using ADMX templates
Once the ADMX templates have been installed, the configuration options for the Specops Client can be accessed from a Group Policy by starting in the Group Policy Management Console. For more information, see the Specops Client page.
Multiple Credential Providers
The Specops Credential Provider wraps Microsoft's credential providers. On a system with additional credential providers, compatibility must be validated. See Third-party Credential Providers for more information.
