Client Configuration

Specops Client helps users meet password policy requirements by providing detailed feedback during Windows password changes. It also notifies users before their passwords expire.

• Without Specops Client, Windows displays a generic error when a new password does not meet policy requirements, without explaining which requirements were not met.

• With Dynamic Feedback at Password Change in Specops Client, users receive immediate feedback as they type a new password. The add-on shows which password policy requirements are already met, identifies checks that occur after submission, and confirms whether the new password and confirmation match. In addition, Specops Client notifies users before their passwords expire.
