Prerequisites
The following must be in place before you configure a Single Sign-on application for Microsoft 365:
- A Specops Authentication account.
- A Microsoft Entra ID tenant, an administrator account for the tenant, and the Microsoft Graph PowerShell module installed on a computer to set up federation.
- An Active Directory environment with Specops Gatekeeper installed. Users who will access Microsoft 365 using Specops Authentication as their identity provider must have corresponding synchronized user accounts in Microsoft Entra ID. The accounts can be synchronized by using Entra ID Connect.
- A domain that is registered and verified in both Microsoft Entra ID and in Specops Authentication. Users should have this domain as their UPN suffix. Also see Domain Verification.
