Deploy OS will not install with latest version of Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) and Windows PE add-on
When attempting to install the latest version of Deploy OS, during the Image server portion, the installer will check the prerequisites and due to the fact the version of ADK and Windows PE does not match the version supported version, you will not be able to proceed:
You will need to modify the SpecopsOSDeploy.xml file located in C:\Temp\SpecopsDeploy_Setup_7.1.24182.1\Products\SpecopsOSDeploy. Open Notepad as an admin and remove these lines:
then Save.
After this is done, close and re-open the installer and the prerequisites will be fulfilled, and you are now able to install the software:
