What permissions are needed for a new admin to fully manage Specops Deploy App?
The admin account must have the permissions ”Edit settings”, ”Delete” and ”Modify” on the Specops Deploy App GPO that is being used.
If the admin should have access to Specops Deploy Feedback data the account must be added to the group “Specops Deploy Feedback Users”. The group can be found locally on the Specops Deploy App server. Open “Computer Management” and go to “System Tools” – “Local Users and Groups” – “Groups”
This should be enough because the Specops Deploy App service is running as “Local admin” and all applications are being installed on clients as “Local system”.
