The data present in the reparse buffer is invalid 0x80071128
A number of Specops Deploy App and Specops Inventory customers have recently reported the following error:
Exception: System.IO.IOException
The data present in the reparse point buffer is invalid.
We believe this is a general Microsoft group policy related issue, caused by a patch/patches (likely KB4056895 and KB4056898). The issue can potentially impact all Specops products.
Specops recommends uninstalling the patches as there is no workaround at the moment. For more information, see: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/january-17-2018-kb4057142-os-build-14393-2034-65526870-f2b6-30cd-6f83-bbabcd690750
