Available Events

Email templates can be configured to send emails to users on certain system events.

The available events that can be used to trigger emails are:

Event Description
Password Reset for User Succeeded This event occurs when the password has been successfully changed in the external system.
Password Reset for User Failed This event occurs whenever a password change in the remote system fails.
If the remote system is offline, this event will happen once for each retry configured on the Sync Point, which may cause many emails to be sent from the same synchronization job if this template is used.
Password Reset for User Failed and Discarded This event occurs when the password change in the external system has failed the maximum number of times according to the retry settings in the Sync Point.
After the last failure, the password change job will be discarded by the Sync Server.
It is recommended to inform the user if this event occurs.
