How do I deny a group from receiving my Specops Password Policy
This is useful if you are applying it to a wide scope of a domain, but rather than exclude an OU, you can choose to exclude by a Security group.
If you have a security group in mind you can use that one or create one in Active Directory Users and Computes. You will then locate the Specops Policy in Group Policy and on the delegation tab click Advanced:
You would then select Add:
and add the security group you are looking to create and once you check names and the name resolves, click OK.
From here you can see the group was added and that it has read access:
Scroll down to Apply Group policy and check Deny and then click OK.
Then Yes here.
Then OK once more and then you will see the group appear in the GPO and then you are done.
